Originally from the Northwest, I've spent the last ten years chasing academic opportunities all over the country. I spent my undergrad career at American University in DC, where I fell in love with philosophy and decided I didn't want to be a mid-level bureaucrat after all. So I went off to Texas A&M for a masters in philosophy and adopted two excellent garbage hounds, Herbert and Olivia. We moved to New York ten years ago so I could start my PhD at the CUNY Graduate Center. During the pandemic we moved from Brooklyn to Seattle to be closer to family. That's where I'm living now, working as a consultant for rGen Consulting.
